First 10 images are of 2013 Transparency International's report about transparency in public proceedings in 177 countries. The report includes score of each country out of 100( with 100 as most transparent and 0 as most corrupt), their rank with regard to other countries and their highest and lowest rank. As expected Scandinavian Countries are on top along side with New Zealand as the most transparent nations. The interesting thing to note on is that only two (2) out of approximately 55 muslim majority countries make into top 50 thats United Arab Emirates and Qatar. It also shows the more democratic the country is, the more transparent it is. To our discomfort Pakistan is ranked 127 out of 177(image 8) and only managed to score 28 out of 100 while India scoring 36. Somalia is at the bottom with 8 score.
"Corruption is an illegal act by a person or institution in power misusing his Authority to illegaly protect the special interest of individuals or institution at the expense of exploiting legal popular interest of masses".
Next we have Qoute of Founding Father of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah explaining the general trend in corruption before partition.( That probably still holds true). Then we have PMDC corruption report which outspoken's everybody.
Then there are images of 2010 Transparency International Pakistan Report showing the most corrupt institutions of country(as per popular belief). It also shows improving but unstable improvement in Health sector and Judiciary while declining transparency in Land Administration and Education sector. Next we have Pakistan's rank through past 14 years(1996 to 2009) showing unstable trend through last one and half decade.
These report reflect not only moral degradation and economic downturn of the country but also the behavioral, social, economic and possibly the cultural belief's regarding any public proceedings. These also show the ways of protection of interests of classes by using political and administrative power by trickery. These facts are also an important evidence of ideological degradation of poor also.( being not able to protect their legal rights possibly through lack of Education or understanding or probably by being frightened of the oppression of these elites through coercive use of money and power)
